Recently I was reading a book on Worship. I was hungry to see what this particular author had to say about this very important subject. The book was written in the proper form and said the right things, but when I laid the book down, I was a long way from understanding anything other than some great one liners and a lot of dictionary phrases.

Worship can be defined by a book, but it can only be truly understood and experienced by practical application. If you have spent any time in the study and application of worship, you will find one recurring question that seems to be a common denominator woven and interlaced throughout the many articles, books, songs and even sermons on the subject; that one question is “What is Worship?” This question must be answered. It is my personal perspective, after almost 30 years of ministry, that the answer to this question is simple. Worship is the medium to guide us into the presence of God. If this is truly the answer, then the value of worship is exponential or priceless. This is or at minimum should be the goal and desire of all Christians, to be in His glorious presence. If we cannot attain the glory or presence of the Lord without worship, then to maintain our theology, we must learn to worship. Because of the importance it holds to our core values, we cannot understate the purpose of worship.

Christ Community is all about true worship; not just noise, music or emotion, but true heart driven worship that will usher every soul who relinquishes themselves to His presence will experience. If you hunger for a relationship with God, then Christ Community is the place for you.
